Ava Florence Smothers Baldwin, 86, widow of Erie William
Baldwin, of 225 Thompson Road, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2001.
A native of Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late Irvin
Register and Nora Victoria Kee Smothers. She was a retired
inspector for Winter Garden Co-op and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors: A son, William E. Baldwin, of Taylors; a
daughter, Lanora B. Powers, of Greenwich, N.Y.; a brother,
Floyd Smothers, of Ocala, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary. Burial:
Coleman Memorial Park.
