HENRY E. RUDD DIES

Aged and Life-Long Resident Dies at Hospital Here Henry E. Rudd of East Main street, the last survivor of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Rudd of Bennnigton, died at 6:00 o'clock this morning at Putnam Memorial hospital. He had been confined to the hospital for only a couple of days and no hope had been held for his recovery. Mr. Rudd had been a life-long resident of this town, having been born here May 7, 1853. He was therefore 88 years old. His mother was the former Charlotte Hamilton. Surviving him is his wife, the former Bertha Potter. The funeral Service will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from Walbridge Funeral Home. Burial will be in the village cemetery.
