Ben Bond Dead
Ben Bond, a clever citizen of the Eighteenth district, died
last Saturday night, after an illness of over eighteen
months. He had suffered a long time with a bad and dropsy
was the cause of the liver| death. He was 34 years old and
is survived by his wife and two children. He was a member
of the Baptist church, and a man held in high esteem by his
neighbors and friends. He was a member of the W.O. W. and
carried $1,000 insurance. The burial occurred Sunday at Oak
Grove; after funeral services by Rev. J. N. Joyner3
