Marjorie Louise Norwood, 76 of near S. Fulton died July 15,
1998 at Union City. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday,
White-Ranson Funeral Home; Rev. Bobby Williams officiating;
burial, Ebenezer Cemetery in New Johnsonville. Pallbearers:
Ray L. Norwood, John Yates, Keith Hepler, Michael D.
Brandon, Joe Matt Cunningham, Robert Wolverton. She was
born May 9, 1922 in Obion County, daughter of the late
William Walter and Callie (McCann) Stone. She first married
John Thomas Wolverton April 2, 1946. He died Jan 29, 1972.
She then married Raymond E. Norwood in August 1986. She was
a retired supply technician at Baptist Mem. Hospital-Union
City and a Baptist. Survivors in addition to her husband: a
daughter, Jonnie Brandon; son, Rick Wolverton;
stepdaughter, Kathy Yates; stepson, Ray L. Norwood; sister,
Mary Inex Hepler; 2 grandchildren, seven
step-grandchildren; 2 great grand-children and 6
step-great-grandchildren.2
