As George Cantelo, 33, of Hoosick, N. Y. accompanied by his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cantelo, was motoring here
early last week, he became suddenly and seriously ill. On
arriving ht the home of his friend. Harold F. Simmons, whom
he had planned to visit, a physician was called, who found
the young man suffering from meningitis of virulent type.
He was removed to the Gifford Memorial hospital, where he
died Snnday afternoon. An undertaker came from Hoosick and
his parents, who had remained here, accompanied their
deceased son back home. A wife and small baby also survive.
Mr. Cantelo was associated with the Morris Plan Bank of
Bridgeport, Conn.3
