Robert F. Boyd Dies at Westport
Robert Franklin Boyd, 73, died at his home in Westport
Wednesday morning after an illness of three months. He was
a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at Dilday Funeral Home Thursday,
conducted by Rev. Neil Butler of Buena Vista. Burial was in
Jamison Cemetery near Westport. Survivors are his wife,
Mrs. Verlie McAuley Boyd, a stepson Lemar Hillard of
Westport, a stepdaughter Mrs. Jessie Hartzfield of
McKenzie, three sisters Mrs. Carl Winters of Huntingdon,
Mrs. John Robertson of Buena Vista, Mrs. Viola Nolen of
Hollow Rock; and one grandson Robert G. Boyd of Buena Vista.3
