D0SSIE PINKST0N DIES MONDAY AT HOME
Dossie Benjamin Pinkston, 87, Bush, died at 10:45 p. m.
Monday at his home, after a one-year illness. He was a
retired miner. Mr. Pinkston was born Feb. 6, 1872, in
Missouri. He married the former Maggie Wilks in 1901 in
Bernie, Mo. He belonged to the Church of Christ. He leaves
his wife; children Mrs. Bonnie Pitts, Mrs. Pansy Piper,
Mrs. Doris Holland, Enos and Eddie, all of Bush, and David
of Chicago, 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Thursday at the Bush
Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Frank Clark and the Rev.
Ivan Yost, officiating. Burial will be in Blairsville
Cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence after 5
p. m. today. Johnson Funeral Home, Herrin, is in charge of
arrangements.5
