Enos W. Pinkston
BUSH Enos W. Pinkston, 73, of Route 1, De Soto, died at
11:20 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, 1990, in Herrin Hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Johnson-Hughes
Funeral Home in Herrin, with the Rev. Danny Norman
officiating. Burial with military rites will be in
Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. today
at the funeral home. Mr. Pinkston retired in 1966 from
Norge Industries. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church
in Bush, and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was
born May 28, 1916, in Bush to Dossie and Maggie (Wilks)
Pinkston. He married Roseland Holland in 1941 in
Perryville, Mo. She survives. Other survivors include one
son, Walter Pinkston of Bush; two daughters, Nancy Pinkston
of Bush and Brenda Norris of Marion; two sisters, Doris
Holland and Pansy Piper, both of Bush; six grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three
sisters preceded him in death.3
