Miss Long, R. L. Cowling To Be Wed UT Students Plan June Rites In Houston

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd L.Scott of Seabrook have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Martha Evelyn Long, to Richard Leonidas Cowling of Austin. The wedding will take place June 12 in the Houston Central Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Donald H. Stewart reading the double-ring vows. Miss Long was graduated from San Jacinto High School in Houston.

She attended TSCW in Denton and is now a student at the University of Texas. Mr. Cowling is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Edwin Cowling of Houston.

A graduate of San Jahas attended TCU in Fort Worth cinto High School Houston, the and is attending the University of Texas at the present. He spent three and a half years in the Army Air Corps.1
