mother of Mrs. George W. Trultt of Oakland. Kelly Cowling -
of Corpus Christ!, Tex., and L. E. Cowling Jr. of Houston,
Tex.; grandmother of Jody Stringer, Nancy Arce, Edwin
Truitt, Lane, Robert, and Richard Cowling and Elizabeth
Strube; a native of Arkansas. A member of South Bluff
Methodist Church of Corpus Christi. Friends may call at
Truman's, Telegraph Avenue at 30th Street, Oakland, until 3
p.m. Tuesday. (Abundant private parking.) Interment, Corpus
Christi, Texas.
Mrs. Ada Cowling
Funeral services for Mrs. Ada McLaln Cowling, 81, will be
held at Cage-Mills Chapel at 2:30 p. Friday with the Rev.
Lowell pastor of South Bluff Methodist Church, officiating,
Burial will be In Rose Hill Cemetary. Pallbearers will be
Buford Craig, James Gallowny, Clarence Hertol, John C.
Greene, Willard White arid A. T. Key. Mrs. Cowling, a
resident of Corpus Christi for 15 years, died saturday at
the home of her daughter, Mrs, George W. Truitt, in Calif.
She had resided with Mrs. Truitt for the past two yours,
Surviving, besides her daughter, are two sons. Kelly
Cowling, Corpus Christi, and L. E. Cowling Houston.3 4
