COWLING

William Kelly Cowling, 74, of 514 Driftwood, Wednesday died at his home after a long Illness. ; He was born in Washington, Arkansas and as been a resident of Corpus Christi for the past 44 years moving from Scottsdale, Arizona. Prior to his retirement he was a partner in the Cowlin Insurance Agency. He was a member of South Bluff United Methodist Church, former member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club, and the Independent Insurance Agents of Corpus Christi. He was a graduate of Southwestern University of Georgetown. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ross Langham Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Milton Bohnfalk, pastor of the Bluff United Methodist Church, officiating. Survivors Include his wife, Christine; one son, Samuel McLain Cowling; a daughter-in-law, Beverly Cowling four grandchildren, Jeff, Bill, David, and Donna Cowling , all of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. George W. Truitt, Oakland, California. : The family asks that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Samaritan Mission. Ross Langham Mortuary.²
