Marie Norwood
NORWOOD, Marie Doreen, 81, a long time resident of
Prattville, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday,
October 15, 2014. Funeral service will be held on Saturday,
October 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Prattville Memorial
Chapel with Reverend Dave Burns officiating. Entombment
will follow at Prattville Memorial Mausoleum with
Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Norwood was
preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Elton Wade
Norwood; one son, Robert Elton Norwood; three sisters,
Eileen Ford, Maureen Blair and Marlene Connolly; one
brother, Jack Moxey. She is survived by her daughter, Julie
(Jeff) Greene; two sons, Philip (Jane) Norwood and Timothy
(Heather) Norwood; four grandchildren, Annabeth Greene,
Jessica (Blake) Hawkins, Wade Norwood and Graham Norwood;
three brothers, Anthony Moxey, Graham Moxey and Len Moxey;
extended family and many friends. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be made in Mrs. Norwood's honor to Hospice of
Montgomery, 1111 Holloway Park, Montgomery, AL 36117,
334-279-6677. The family will receive friends on Saturday,
October 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
