William C. Nolen Rites Are Today
HUNTINGDON Tenn. William Cullie Nolen, 74, died at Keaton
Clinic at Bruceton at 4 a.m. Thursday. He was the son of
the late W. H. and Martha Jones Nolen. Mr. Nolen was a
former magistrate of Carroll County and a member of the Oak
Grove Baptist Church. He had spent his entire life in
Carroll County. Services were held at 2:30 p.m. today at
the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Neal Butler
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Dilday
Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Nolen leaves his wife, Mrs.
Angie Roberson Nolen; four daughters, Mrs. Cubb Melton,
Trezevant, Mrs. Woodie Kee, Buena Vista, Mrs. Buel
Smothers, Camden, and Mrs. Arlon Cole Bruceton; a son, Roy
Nolen of Bruceton; and two brothers, J. B. Nolen of Bemis
and Aulie Nolen of Huntingdon.6
