CAMDEN Services for Vera J. French, 78, were today at Stockdale- Malin Funeral Home with the Rev. Arzell Douglas officiating. Burial was in Cross Roads Cemetery near Camden. Mrs. French, a retired assembly line worker for RCA In Bloomington, Ind., died Sunday night at Benton Community Hospital after a short Illness. , She was a native of Benton County, was the widow of W.B. French and a member of Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are four sons, Willis Hortnn of Brumley, Mo., Robert llorton of Excelsior Spring, Mo., William Clcmon llorton of Oak Town, Ind., and Donald Gene Horton of Camden; a sister, Gladys Gamblin of Bruceton; two half sisters, Jean Riddle and Ruby Wood, bolh of Madisonville, Ky.; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.5
