Virgil Lester Norwood. retired farmer, died Saturday,
February 10, 1983 at Carroll County Baptist Hospital.
Services were conducted at Dilday Funeral Home with Bro.
Robert Noles officiating. Burial was in Jamison Cemetery,
Westport, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Ellis Norwood, a
daughter, Cleo Horn, a sister Frances Holland of Eva, TN,
and two granddaughters, Doris Horn Rich, and Linda Horn
Reeves, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Benton
County, Tennessee.1
