Thomas Eldon Smothers

CAMDEN- Funeral services for Thomas Eldon Smothers, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 12, 2005 at Bruceton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Benton County, TN. Mr. Smothers, a retired Shift Supervisor for DuPont, died Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Benton County, TN on February 25, 1921, to the late Mr. Thomas Jordan Smothers and Mrs. Martha Ann Brackens Smothers. He is survived by his wife of 64 years. Mrs. Lewana Higdon Smothers of Camden, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Mr. Jimmy (Bettie) Smothers of Camden, TN. Pallbearers to serve are Troy Smothers, Dennis Smothers, Millard Higdon, Bobby Smothers, Bobby Higdon, and John Oxford. Honorary pallbearers are Dallas Smothers, Russell King, Lloyd Smothers, J. R.
