MRS. CLARK KEE.
Mrs. Clark Kee died at Bemis, Tenn., July 21 at 8 pm. Mrs.
Kee was born near Popular Bluff, Mo., in 1863, and came
with her mother to Benton County in early childhood. The
deceased was married to Clark Kee in 1879. Eleven children
were born of this union, all living except Lillie, who was
killed in a runaway accident at the age of 14, The other
children are Mrs. Ada Hoy, Mrs, Ida Bateman, Mrs. Emily
Craine, Mrs. George Parish, Mrs. Katherine Lundy, Mrs.
Fannie Owens, Mrs. Esther Grubbs, Miss Exie Kee, W. A. and
Ike Kee, She professed faith in Christ at the age of 16 aud
united with the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held
at the Kee home at Bemis, conducted by Dr. Guy of Jackson.
Interment followed at Pleasant Hill. Revs. Jim Joyner and
Greene Cooper officiated at the burial service.3
