Ruby Wilson, 84, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, June 12, 2000, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Blytheville. Born July 26, 1915, in Huntington, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late J.C. and Veride Bond Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Wilson; one son, Alton Wilson; and one daughter, Lois Hurley. A lifelong resident of Steele, she was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Wilson leaves two brothers: J.C. Jones of Rockford, Ill., and Kenneth Jones of Missouri; Four sisters: Lemith Garrison and Shirley Bowling of Kennett, Mo., Ruth Pruitt of Memphis, Tenn., and Noyola Laz of Illinois; One grandson, Roger Hurley and his wife Donna, of Blytheville; and One great-grandson, Shane Duncan Hurley, of Blytheville. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson were held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. John Henson officiating. Burial was at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele, Mo., with Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville in charge. Steele Enterprise - Steele, Missouri - June 15, 2000²
