BUTLER Dec. 19, 1914-Aug. 4, 2000 Lila Mai Butler, 85, of
Huntingdon, died Friday. August 4, at the Baptist Memorial
Hospital. Services were held on Sunday. August 6, in the
Dildav Funeral Horne Chapel. Brother William Fowler
officiated. Burial followed in the Humbles Cemetery. Mrs.
Butler, the daughter of the late Green and Louise Bell
Norden, was born December 19, 1914, in Carroll County, She
was a homemaker and a member of the Humbles Missionary
Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her
husband, Ezra Herman Butler, who died November 27. 1998; a
son, Gerald Ray Butler, who died August 2, 1953; and a
grandson, Kenneth Hendrix, who died in January 1996. She is
survived by a son, H.H. Butler, Jr. of Huntingdon; three
daughters, Shirley McDaniel of Paris, Morine Cary of
Bruceton, and Brenda Johnson of Camden; nine grandchildren,
12 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson.1
