S.P.SMITH DIES, INSURANCE MAN Was Atlanta Agent for
Provident Company. S. Parham Smith, agent for the Atlantic
office of the Provident Life & Accident Insurance
company, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 1018 Beecher
street, southwest. A native of Flovilla, Ga., he had been a
resident here for 10 years. Surviving are his wife, a
daughter, Greta Smith; five sisters, Mrs. T. O. Linch, Mrs.
G. V. Cunningham, Miss Laura Smith, Mrs. R. B. Thompson and
Mrs. N. J. Thomas, and a brother, Seab Smith. Funeral
arrangements will be announced by H. M. Patterson & Son.2
