Troy Black
CAMDEN Services for Troy Lee Black, 79, retired railroad
employe, were today at Sandy Point Baptist Church with the
Rev. Leonard Greer and the Rev. Monroe Sarratt officiating.
Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Stockdale-Malin
Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Black died Wednesday at his
home after a short illness. He was a WWI veteran and a
member and deacon of Sandy Point Baptist Church. He leaves
his widow, Mrs. Ivy Douglas Black of Camden; two daughters,
Mrs. Nadine Turner and Mrs. Mildred Baker, both of Camden;
two sons, Wendell Black and Aaron Black, both of East St.
Louis, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.2 3 4 5
