Mrs. Susie Boyd To Be Buried Today
Mrs. Susie Young Boyd, 78, died yesterday morning at seven
o'clock at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dave Conners, near
Westport. She had been very active in church work at the
Westport Baptist Church, as well as Huntingdon Baptist
Church, of which she was a member She was also a member of
the Eastern Star. Her husband died February 17, 1938. She
had lived at Westport community for the past 40 years. She
leaves her sister, a nephew, T. J. O'Donniley of Memphis,
and two nieces, Mrs. Jess Britton of West Frankfort, Ill.,
and Mrs. J. R. Bryant of Jackson. Funeral services will be
held this morning a 10 o'clock at Oak Grove Baptist Church
near Buena Vista, Tenn. The Rev. Neal Butler, pastor, will
officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with
Alexander Wray Funeral Home in charge.4
