Maudie Melton
CAMDEN - Services for Maudie Melton, 79, will be at 2 p.m.
Friday at Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry
Corder officiating. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery.
Mrs.
Melton, widow of John C. Melton, died late Wednesday
afternoon at Benton Community Hospital after a long
illness. She was a native of Benton County and a member of
Chalk Level Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters,
Pauline Troutt and Marie Melton, both of Camden; a son,
Clifford Melton of Camden; two sisters, Opal Waller and
Louise Utley, both of Camden; two brothers, Albert Hardin
and Walter Hardin, both of Camden; two grandchildren; and
three great-grandchildren.1
