HOLLOW ROCK - Services for Hattie Lee Matheny, 68, will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Buena Vista with the Rev. Mitchell Rayburn and the Rev. P.J. Scott officiating. Burial will be in McAuley Cemetery. Mrs. Matheny, wife of Claude Matheny, died Tuesday afternoon at Baptist Hospital of Huntingdon after a long illness. A Buena Vista native, she had been a member of Mount Nebo Church since 1931. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Linda Sanders of Camden; two sons, Bobby Matheny of Buena Vista and Maurice Matheny of Camden; two sisters, Ruth Sanders of Bruceton and Flora Williams of Buena Vista; and four grandchildren. Bruceton Funeral Home is in charge.
