Ava Smothers

Mrs. Ava R. Smothers, 70, a member of a Methodist Church, died yesterday in Bells Lodge. Mrs. Smothers, 5812 N. 26th Ave., was born in Holladay, Tenn., and had resided most of her life in Camden, Tenn., before moving to Phoenix 10 years ago. Services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Lundberg Chapel of Chimes, 5852 W. Glenn Drive. Friends may call there from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Deena Henager and Mrs. Marie Dixon, both of Phoenix, and Mrs. Christine Hendrix of Pensacola, Fla.; three brothers and two sisters out of state; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.³
