LAURA M McRAE PRESQUE ISLE - Laura M McRae 83 widow of
William McRae died August 13 1976 at a Van Buren hospital
following a long illness She was born in Houlton December 2
1892 the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Moorehouse)
Brewster She had been a resident of Presque Isle for most
of her life she was the oldest member of the Grant Memorial
United Methodist Church and held a special membership in
the Womens Society of Christian Service She was also a
member of the WCTU She is survived by one son Milton W
McRae Presque Isle- three sisters Nellie Jewett Millville
NB Margaret Brewer Bristol Conn Leatha Thomson SpotswoodNJ
two brothers Herbert Brewster Forestville Conn Sheridan
Brewster Lancaster Calif several nieces and nephews There
will be no calling hours Funeral services will be held at
Graves Funeral Home Presque Isle Sunday at 1 pm with Rev
James Word Pastor of the Grant Memorial United Methodist
Church officiating Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.1
