Loy G. Robison
Mr. Loy G. Robison, age 89 of Huntingdon, TN, passed away
Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Baptist Memorial Memorial
Hospital. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday,
August 1, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter
Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove
Cemetery. Brother Wendell Boyd will officiate the service.
Mr. Robison was born April 24, 1922 in Carroll County, TN
to the late Basil Gray Robison and Magnolia Norden Robison.
He was a retired employee of the State of TN, Highway
Department and a member of the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist
Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Robison,
who passed away December 9, 2010; two brothers, Raymond
Robison and Clayton Robison. He is survived by son, Kenneth
(Glenda) Robison of Huntingdon, TN; daughter, Wanda Faye
(John) Flanagan of Castlewood, VA; brother, Ealon Robison
of Hollow Rock, TN; five grandchildren; eight great
grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two step
grandchildren; two step great grandchildren. The family
will receive friends on Sunday from 3 til 6 p.m. and on
Monday from 8 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home.
