Mr. Spirgon G. Nolen, 84, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at the State Veterans Home in Humboldt. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Humbles Cemetery. Bro. Wayne Holmes will officiate the service.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Bates) Nolen, one daughter, Judy E. Lowe (husband Jimmy R.) of Hollow Rock, two sons, Jerry Nolen (wife Patty) and Carl Nolen (wife Johnny Beth) both of Huntingdon, and one sister, Bevia Presley of Huntingdon. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Christi Brandon, Steven Nolen, Pam Corder, Tim Lowe, Shonda Walters, Clay Nolen, Lee Nolen and seven great-grandchildren.4
