forma resident of Poteau died at his bone in Ada last
Friday morning Although Mr French had been in ill health
for several months It was believed that his condition had
Improved and his death was unexpected Funeral service was
conducted at tha Church of the Nasarene In Poteau Monday
morning at ten o'clock with Rev J H King pasta of the
church assisted by Rev Jas S Grlffes of the Presbyterian
Church officiating Mr French resided In Poteau foe several
years and moved from here to Durant He later returned to
Poteau and after remaining hero fa a few months went to Ada
where he had operated a shoe repair shop fa the past two
years He la survived by his wife Urs Euda Adams French his
parents Mr and Mrs H H French of Poteau a sister Mrs Eurm
Arthur at Boston Mass and a brother James French of San
Antonio Texas Mrs Arthur Mr and Mrs James Ftench cams to
Poteau for the funeral servloe
