Mrs. Eulala Eubanks Matheny
BUENA VISTA - Services for Mrs. Eulala Eubanks Matheny, 59,
formerly of Carroll County, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Bruceton Funeral Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Grove
Cemetery near Buena Vista. Mrs. Matheny, wife of Melvin
Matheny of Washington, Ill., died Friday morning in
Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, Ill., after a long
illness. She was born and raised in Carroll Carroll County,
but had lived several years in Washington, Ill. She was a
member of the Huntingdon chapter of Order of the Eastern
Star, Sunnyland Church of the Nazarene in Washington, Ill.,
and active in the Sunnyland Women's Club. Besides her
husband, she leaves her father and stepmother, Brice and
Bessie Eubanks of Buena Vista, and a stepbrother, Dennis
Kee of Camden. The family will receive visitors 6-9 p.m.
Monday at the funeral home.1
