James Elmer Noles Dies Of Heart Attack
HUNTINGDON, Tenn., April 27 James Elmer Noles, 51, who
lived at McLemoresville, died Tuesday afternoon following a
heart attack. He was stricken while workins in a field. A
passerby saw his body from the highway, stopped to
investigate and discovered his death. Funeral services are
to be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Mc-Lemoreuville
Baptist Church. The Rev. David Lawler of Jackson and the
Rev. Fred Prince of Hollow Rock are to officiate. Burial in
the McLemoresville cemetery with Dilday Funeral Home in
charge. A lifelong resident of Carroll County, he was a son
of the late Jim and Amanda Bonds Noles. Mr. Noles was
employed at the Milan Arsenal but was on vacation at the
time of his death. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ludie N. Noles; a son, Ray
Noles of Springfield; two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Cooper of
Memphis and Mrs. Lucy McEwen of McReary, Ark.; three
brothers, Ed, Arthur and Ernest Noles, all of Buena Vista:
a grandchild.3
